He is a professor at the Centre of Islamic Knowledge Institute and the Canadian Centre For Deen Studies. He holds a Masters and a PhD from Umm al-Qura University in Makkah. He has been a professor, Imam & educator for decades overseas and in Canada. He has been serving as the chairman of the Canadian Council of Imams since 2013. His expertise is Islamic Law and Usual a-Fiqh, Exegesis, Qur'an and Hadith studies and more.

He is the chancellor & professor at the Canadian Centre for Deen Studies as well as  a visiting professor in a few international & local universities & colleges. His traditional & academic specialty is in Islamic studies and Law as well as Comparative World Religions & Anthropology. In addition to the traditional degrees known as Ijazah, he holds two Masters degrees with High Honors in both disciplines from Morocco and the US and a PhD in Islamic Law from the U.K. He is the Imam of Sayeda Khadija Centre and has been serving as Imam & Counsellor in Canada since 1997. He is also the former chairman of the Canadian Council of Imams from 2006 to 2013. He teaches Fiqh, Usul, Maqasid..etc.,

he is the Resident scholar & founder of Al-Abrar Muslim Association. He is the current president of the Canadian Council of Imams and Imam of Anatolia Islamic Centre in Mississauga. He graduated from Al-Azhar University's Islamic Studies and has been serving as Imam in Egypt and in Canada since 2004. He is currently finishing his PhD at the Minnesota Islamic University. Imam Refaat lectures locally and internationally both in Arabic and in English. 

Imam Mahmoud Khalifa PhD graduated from Al-Azhar University, majoring in the fundamentals of Islamic Jurisprudence and theology. Currently, he is the president of (ECI) Edmonton Council of Imams, the Resident Imam of Al Rashid Mosque, and he is an Associate Professor at the Islamic University of Minnesota. He was appointed as a member of the Al-Azhar Fatwa Council in the Al-Munoufya province at the age of 24. During this time, he continued his studies in Fiqh and Usul Al-Fiqh and received ijazah (license) to give Fatawa. Imam Mahmoud holds an Ijazah in all 10 Major and Minor Qira’at (Different variants of recitations). In addition, Sheikh Mahmoud holds Ijazat in the major Hadith books, such as Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Muwatta, and Al Tirmidhi, and has studied these through a chain of narrators. Shiekh Mahmoud also teaches and gives Ijazat in Hadith and Fiqh and Usool to many students.

He is Professor Dr. Engineer, Islamic thinker and Turkish preacher. He obtained a master's degree with a thesis he prepared entitled: Signs and News to Advanced Technology in the Prophetic Traditions, and then obtained a PhD from Uludag University located in Bursa in the wonderful saying to pray for the beloved prophet of Imam al-Sakhawi in 2004 AD. After that, Halis Aydemir obtained the rank of Associate Professor of Hadith Sciences with his thesis titled: Nafi Mawla Ibn Omar in the light of the theory of possibility of authenticity of narrations in 2008. In 2014, he was appointed as a professor at Dumlupinar University. He was Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Dumlupinar University (2015-2020). During this time, he also held the position of Vice-Rector of the University. Currently he is Chairman of the Islamic Sciences Accreditation Agency (iaa.org.tr). He is the founder of the Canadian Council of Imams in 1988 and was its chairman till 2006. He has served the Muslim community in Canada for more than 50 years as Imam, Chaplain and Muslim representative at many levels and areas especially interfaith and government relations. He has been advocating for Muslim issues including Halal & religious accommodation matters. He has served as Human Rights Commissioner for 6 years. He is also a Professional Engineer 

Specialized medical doctor in Nephrology. He did his postgraduate medical training in South Africa and completed a Nephrology fellowship at McMaster University. He achieved a Master of Science in Health Care Research at the University of Toronto. Dr. Walele is a Fellow of the College of Physicians, South Africa and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Canada. He is practicing as a nephrologist in the Division of Nephrology, William Osler Health System.   

He completed a Bachelors in Biomedical Computing from Queen’s University, medical school from the University of Queensland in Australia and postgraduate residency and fellowship training in internal medicine, respirology and asthma & airways diseases from the University of Toronto. He was awarded a Masters in Public Health, specializing in epidemiology, from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and currently works as an academic respirologist in Toronto. In the community, he is the Co-Director of Education for the Muslim Medical Association of Canada (MMAC) and has been Co-Chair of the Canadian Muslim COVID-19 Task Force (CMCTF) since March 2020.

She is a Professor of  Medicine, McMaster University & Director of the Calcium program  at McMaster University. She graduated from the University of Ottawa Medical School with Honors. She completed postgraduate training at the University of Toronto . 

 She has over 200 scientific publications, books and book chapters  and over 400 international presentations.   She has received numerous international  awards including the International Clinician Instructor of the Year 2011 award by the International  Bone Society .The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for 2012 for excellence in clinical care, research and teaching, International Hypoparathyroidism Award for 2014 and the International Osteoporosis Foundation award for publishing excellence in 2017.

He has a Masters in Business from the  Institute of Business Administration in Karachi and a Masters in Development Economics from Manchester University in the U.K. She is a seasoned banker with over 30 years of experience in the field of corporate finance, risk management, and financial systems development. She help many senior execitive positions in large financial corporations overseas and in North America. In Canada, she worked as Financial Administrator for the Noble Peace Laureate, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders). She also dedicated 2 year to study theology, shariah law, and Arabic language. Her background in finance led to an interest in Islamic Finance and after that she moved to the Islamic Finance field.

She has been active in the Islamic Finance sector for the past decade and combines her interest in writing with her background in Finance to write a weekly blog on Islamic Finance. She has lived and worked in the U.K., Thailand, Pakistan, Canada and the U.S. and presently resides in Chicago. law, and Arabic language. Her background in finance led to an interest in Islamic Finance and after t she moved to the Islamic Finance field.

He specializes in Resources Management & Ethical Financing. Ust. Rehan Saeed has an MBA in Islamic Banking and Finance from the well renowned International Islamic University of Malaysia and a BA in Information Technology from York University, Toronto, Canada.  For many years, he has been instrumental in designing papers and contracts for ethical and Islamic financing and coordinates between the experts and his clients till the final stage of endorsement. He acts as an advisor to various Credit unions in Ontario. He also works with Centennial College in Toronto to offer the well renowned Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) from the UK and make it part of the business curriculum. 

Mr. Paiva has been practicing Family law for more than 30 years. He has authored many papers especially in marriage, divorce and child custody. His knowledge, long experience and work in criminal and family law coupled with his involvement in the Canadian Centre For Deen Studies both learning and teaching gained him a very good understanding on how to deal with issues related to marriage, divorce, Islamic will and Islamic contracts and agreements.

Mr. Chehab specializes in Corporate-Commercial law with clientele ranging from small business entrepreneurs to public companies. He graduated from UofT Economics and from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. He began his legal career in 1989 and established his own law firm in 1993 and continues to operate same until the present time along with his associates. His main area of practice is corporate/commercial law with a focus on raising of capital for public and private companies, shariah compliant financing, corporate acquisitions and structuring asset/share purchase & sale transactions, shareholder agreements, franchising, secured lending, joint venture agreements and distribution/agency agreements.
