Registration

CHART is a non-profit organization with the main purpose to protect the Halal Standards and the Halal consumer. We conduct auditing to ensure those who are certified or certifying products are abiding with the basic principles and standards of Halal. We do not deal with Halal food producers and we do not certify food businesses. We only certify and accredit the certifiers. As for other Halal businesses and services, we do provide endorsement after review and auditing.

If you are interested in registering with us and be accredited by CHART, please contact us through our contact form on this site and we will set up a phone call meeting with you to guide you through the whole process. We will require from you to sign an agreement with CHART and partner with us by following the standards of Halal that have been set up by our scholars. These standards are to ensure that the Halal consumer is protected. This way, together insha Allah we can prevent fraud and misuse of Halal labeling and endorsements.

For Halal Consumables (food, drinks, pharmaceuticals...) or Halal Financing in North America who would like to be accredited by our body, they have to cooperate with us, accept the agreed upon standards and go through our easy, free and simple process of accreditation.  

For Halal Businesses that requires Islamic endorsement (finance, fashion, cosmetics, matrimonial, social services, tourism, lifestyle...) we can help you set up your business to be Halal compliant. We will need your cooperation to review all aspects of your business to be able to grant you an accreditation. 

The Accreditation is FREE but we encourage everyone to support this community service initiative through donations and sponsorship so we can run our operation professionally and be able to afford adequate and professional services and human resources. If applicable, there maybe an application for processing fee of $150 per each file and any significant expenses incurred during the review of the application will be covered by the applicant when it is possible. We chose to go this way to encourage all the certifying agencies and those working in the Halal Industry to join us and register with us to protect the Halal consumers.
